Sea
62
I am the blue sea,
My every heartbeat is one tide,
I stumble, I toss and I turn,
Hoping that it will be peace that I’ll find.
I am afraid of the boats,
The ones that go over me and cut my skin like a knife,
But I endure the pain,
As these boats, they are the life.
People see me as cold,
While some eyes see me as mild,
Some know the depths of my blue soul,
While some stay on the shore, standing aside.
The depths of the sea
Are as deep as my love, sometimes I feel,
The white noise from the sea
Is a melody of my soul trying to heal.
I have tears, pain, happiness and smiles,
I will never stop to feel,
So, I am tossing and turning with the blue sea
That will never be still.
